Michael Todd

Michael Todd has previously released under the moniker Transcendent Device, a project that was conceived in 2004 and has released numerous recordings including "The Doctrine of Unknowing" and "Architectonics and the Elaborate Construction of Meaning" on Mahorka, the second of which was recorded with contributions from Jesse Sola (Numina) and Todd Powers (Famous Ghost).
For his first release under his real name Michael has eschewed the dark ambient guitar sounds in favor of a minimalist synth drone approach. Like an electronic version of the Indian tambura these five cosmic drone meditations were crafted and arranged as album to silence one's mind and help reveal more of the listener's true nature to himself.
