Selective Hearing
Selective Hearing is the project of David Bourgoin and based in the South East of the UK. David’s previous work under the name Another Headache came to an end in the early 2020s. It was felt that a change in working methods and sound sources also necessitated a change in name.
Selective Hearing takes the end of Another Headache as its starting point by adding to the ideas that were part of that project and moving forwards by using newer technologies and the opportunities these allow. Pieces are made up of found sounds, field recordings, recorded atmospheres, spoken word, guitars and electronics.
