This must be the most meditative and organic and least cold album by Renzo Peressi. Coming under his Mendigo moniker, "Concienca" (consciosness) is a journey through a maditating mind, result of quietly looking back in search of deeper meanings. The atmosphere is much warmer than his usual sound with much more lively feeling to it, although the familiar microsound, drones and manipulated field recordings approach, the usage of factory noises, heavy machinnery, traffic, engines and heavily manipulated, almost unrecognizable voices. It is the way the minimalistic structures and melodies evolved this time under his "trying to keep it simple" composing and production and you can clearly feel that in "Concienca".
