The musicians sevensy and Roberto Vodanović Čopor first collaborated on the Mahorka collaborations album Making Things Happen: Netlabel Day 10th Anniversary Compilation released in July 2025. Enjoying the process greatly, the two then embarked on an album-length project. refug3 is the result of their combined explorations.
refug3 is a musical safe haven, a place of peace and rest, even for those who have been made homeless and destitute due to political issues, to violence, or to a society that simply appears not to care.
