Julien Ash is a French composer, multi-instrumentalists and producer, combining neo-classical music with electronics and many different contemporary genres and collaborating with a wide diversity of artists, always delivering unique examples of good new modern music. He is mostly known with the project NLC (Nouvelles Lectures Cosmopolites), started in July 1989 as a duo with Angustère, then solo after 1990 until a halt in 2007. NLC was reactivated in 2021 as a duo of Julien Ash and Aloïs L., his oldest son. Since then Ash has recorded a lot of new music in a variety of styles, under the NLC project and as Julien Ash, on both with regular and always interesting collaborations, including some interesting ones on Mahorka.

Philippe Neau is a visual and sound artist living in France. He states that his paintings and videos show mental landscapes ("mental-scapes"). His music suggests this imaginary landscape made up of non-narrative sounds, atonal melodies, glitches, organic textures, hollow field-recordings, abstract notes, abyssal echoes and whispered distant voices. "Disturbing" atmosphere, tinged brightness and darkness, take shape and enfold "the listener / viewer" in a unique sound and spatial experience. He has been part of Mahorka for more than a decade, since his early Nobodisoundz days, both solo and in very interesting collaborations.

Released October 9, 2026, "Les allées tourbillonnaires" is a collaborative album of Julien Ash and Philippe Neau that is part of a trilogy.

The first release, the "Conjonction Astrale" EP was released in early September 2026 on Kalamine Records:
